Everything you need to know before booking a concierge IV drip or vitamin injection. Still curious? We're an email away.
Treatments & Safety
While nearly everyone can benefit from IV vitamin replacement therapy, we are unable to treat anyone who is acutely ill, has a history of cardiac disease, takes blood thinners or anticoagulants, is currently pregnant, has a sulfa allergy, suffers from hypotension (low blood pressure), or is under the age of 18. Every patient is screened prior to treatment and the provider has full discretion to decline or modify any service when clinically appropriate.
Side effects are rare and in most cases not life-threatening, but possible risks include:
- Allergic reactions
- Irritation or infection at the IV site
- Vasovagal response (fainting in fear of needles)
- Bleeding or bruising
- IV infiltration (fluid leaking out of the vein into surrounding soft tissue)
Most patients feel the effects of their drip immediately, though results vary based on individual deficiencies, hydration status, and the formulation chosen. Energy, mental clarity, and hydration typically peak within the first 24 hours.
The benefits of each drip generally last two to three weeks. We recommend a more frequent loading schedule initially, then a maintenance cadence of once every two weeks for optimal results. Your provider will tailor a plan after your intake.
Sessions & Scheduling
Most IV drips run 45–60 minutes after IV insertion.
Weight-loss drips run approximately 75 minutes. NAD+ drips run a minimum of two hours and the time can vary based on your tolerance.
Appointments are concierge by design — we come to your home, office, hotel, or event location throughout Manhattan and the NYC metro area. All you need is a comfortable seat, a quiet room, and a confirmed contact number so your provider can text or call when en route.
For any party of three or more, please email or message us directly to reserve the time slot and discuss details. The DripDoc serves pop-ups, private parties, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, and corporate events.
Yes. We regularly serve the greater NYC metro area including Brooklyn, Queens, and select areas of New Jersey. Travel fees may apply outside of Manhattan — reach out before booking to confirm coverage and pricing.
Payments & Insurance
No. The DripDoc is an out-of-network, cash-pay concierge service. We accept major credit cards, Zelle, and cash. A superbill can be provided on request for services that may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement, but reimbursement is not guaranteed.
HSA and FSA cards can typically be used at the time of service. Eligibility ultimately depends on your plan administrator — we recommend confirming with your provider before booking.
A deposit is collected at the time of booking to secure your slot. The balance of the service is due at the time of IV insertion and processed securely through Square.
Cancellation Policy
All IV drips are prepared individually prior to your appointment and are time-sensitive.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance result in loss of the deposit.
- No-shows are charged in full.
- Memberships have a three-month minimum commitment, after which they may be cancelled with 30 days written notice.
Absolutely. Rescheduling within the 24-hour window is free of charge — just reach out to us by phone, email, or Instagram and we will work with you to find a new time.
