Our commitment
The DripDoc is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards in both our website and the in-home care experience.
Conformance status
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to address these areas.
Accessibility features on this site
- Accessibility toolbar (bottom-left) for adjusting text size and enabling a high-contrast mode.
- Semantic HTML structure with descriptive headings and landmarks for screen readers.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, buttons, and forms with visible focus states.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA targets for body text.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
- Forms with associated labels and clear validation messages.
In-home care accommodations
Our providers are trained to deliver care in environments tailored to your needs. If you require specific accommodations — extra time, a particular communication preference, mobility assistance, or a sensory-friendly approach — please let us know when scheduling and we will plan accordingly.
Feedback
If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our site or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know. Email thedripdoc@gmail.com or call 929-630-5447. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days and will work to provide an accessible alternative or resolve the issue promptly.
Assessment approach
The DripDoc assesses the accessibility of its website through a combination of internal review, automated testing using industry-standard tools, and user feedback. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.
Compatibility
The site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox) and assistive technologies including screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack), screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation. Older browsers may not support all features.
Formal complaints
If you are unable to resolve an accessibility concern through our team, you may also contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division regarding Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
